Marijuana is not like other drugs, smack or coke for example; marijuana does not contain any physical addiction properties. The addiction is fully psychological and as such it is possible to exercise your subconscious to overcome that addiction. Many people research how to stop smoking marijuana, however the draining effects marijuana has, they never get up and do it.

As with most pot heads, the other part they have to battle with is habit. We are used to having a joint after a difficult day at the office, they like the flavour and smell and are used to holding a reefer in their fingers.

Most of us that smoke pot will find that a lot of their close friends. This makes the process of quitting cannabis even tougher as your always spending time with like minded people.

In order to quit you must make a strong commitment to yourself and also have the drive to quit. For example your cannabis habit maybe having adverse effects on your relationships, maybe that you cant keeping spending on the habbit and you are getting into financial difficulty or even your gaffer is fed up with your unmotivated, uninterested approach to your job and you are risking loosing your job.

The battle to quit smoking marijuana is definitely worth the effort. Within a week of kicking the habit, although I was still battling with the habit; I felt better inside, less depressed, happy and a lot more awake and upbeat. My {immediate|close|most important friends welcomed the change in my personality with open arms, and began to see a all new part of me that had before being muted with cannabis.

Just remember, there are a wide range of reasons to quitting marijuana-

* full of energy

* Increased confidence

* Feel comfortable in social situations

* and mainly, a lot of spare money

It personally took me 8 weeks to recover from habit with the help of the Cannabis Coach manual.
